And there's still a long way from getting a second upper class honours.

Wai Mun Returns

I'M BACK!

Had been staying at babe's place for the past few days.
I missed home when I was there.
But now that I've gotten home, I miss living with him. :(

Anyway, I celebrated Christmas with his family this year.
It is of no doubt one of the best and most memorable
celebration I've ever had!

His parents bought turkey, chicken sausages and ham under babe's
grandaunt's recommendation but everything turned out frozen,
awaiting to be roasted. And crap, the turkey is goddamn huge that
babe's mum gotta chop its thighs, drums and wings off and roast them
separately from the remaining body. To bring some balance to the
meal, we ran an errand to get some veges, fruit cocktail and yogurt
for our salads. Ah! And babe made clam chowder soup too!

That night I did facial on babe too! HAHA!
He warned me not to post pictures of him in the mask on my
blog but I will ask for his permission again.

I returned to Gorgeous Hair Studio to have my hair dyed ash brown
and the director snipped off my fringe conveniently.

They left you for an online game when you were still fuming mad over the
quarrel you guys just had. They turned in ignorantly when the clock strikes 12
and what about you? Continue weeping without them knowing.

Officially Twenty-One.

Million thanks to all those who have sent me birthday wishes today even
though I might have forgotten to do so on theirs. I really apologise for that :s
I'm atrocious with dates. Please forgive me yeah?

The day before, we had a slight tiff on msn when he said we will have lunch,
catch Twilight, and finally have dinner to celebrate my birthday.
First disappointment.

I replied, "Er...Isn't that what we always do? Watch movie and eat? I could
list all those out without even thinking and that's all you can come up with
after planning for so long?" And so he asked me what I want to do and said
I was demanding. But you can't really blame me for being demanding right?
It's my 21st birthday after all. I believe every girl would want her boyfriend
to make this occasion special and plan something memorable for her. So
unless babe got himself a stupid girlfriend, it's only natural to expect demands
from me.

We ended up bickering which left him with no choice but to tell me that
he had already planned a surprise for me and because I kept demanding, I
will never have a surprise. Well guys, if you intend to surprise your girlfriend
on important occasions like this, be prepared with 2 brilliant plans: one false
plan to tell your girlfriend, and the other real plan to carry out. That will
make your gf both appeased and surprised. Not to forget it also spares you
from possible arguments.

Spent today with babe. I wore the Levi's jeans that babe got me for my
birthday. But the more amazing thing was...I WORE HEELS!!!! Anyway, was
late to meet him at Somerset today as usual. I thought he would have come
to my place to pick me up but nope, he didn't.
Second disappointment.

Lunched at the new NYDC in Heeren where babe reserved a table for us.
Not long after we settled down, a waitress walked towards me and handed
me the second rose. The first stalk was given to me by babe at the MRT
station when we met. It was unexpected, but wasn't THAT impressive to surprise
me. Oh babe also stayed up late last night to work on my birthday card too.

Afterwhich, we headed to the Gloria's Jeans outside Cineleisure for the $3
regular ice-blended. Super damn cheap la! I never fail to get a cup of Creme
Brulee whenever I walk pass Cineleisure. The Malay guy staff kept looking in
my direction as if I'm someone familiar to him. When I whispered to babe
about the weird guy, he said he noticed that too and asked if I know him.
The moment I turned back to face that Malay guy, he pulled out a stalk of rose
and said, "This is for you!" That really surprised me! I thought more roses will
spring up later today, but it stopped at the third one. BOOOO!!!
Doesn't matter, it already means 'I love you'.

(Btw, if you intend to catch Twilight, I advise you to choose a timeslot with as few
people watching in the same theatre as possible. Those f*cking rowdy Robert-
Pattinson-smittened-girls will be detrimental to your movie-watching experience.Seriously.)

Then he sent me home after dinner quite early at around 7+pm so I could
cut cake with my family.

Last Sunday, babe's parents treated me to a boat and ferry wheel ride, as well as
dinner to celebrate my birthday with a few of his relatives. When we returned to
his place, I was dead jaded but I didn't dare to sleep with all his relatives around.
So babe persuaded me to take an afternoon nap by ensuring me that he would lie
by my side after bathing. But when I woke up 3 hours later, he was nowhere near me.
I got pissed and started ignoring him.

Later during dinner outside, his grandma very cute la, go popped babe a question,
"You never bring the cake out ah?" That's when I felt guilty for showing him attitude
despite his good intention haha.

I received red packets and voucher from both babe's parents and grandma.
His 3 younger sisters even bought me a necklace with a key pendant!
So sweet of them!

Now to those people who asked if I'm married cos of my msn nick which reads:
'I am a blessed daughter-in-law and wife. Thank you.', babe hasn't proposed.
I am merely self-proclaiming haha.

My hair is neither long nor short after the cut; It's still of chest-length.
Don't think I have achieved much of a new look. It looks as if it hasn't
been cut although 3 inches have been snipped off. Maybe I need a
new hair colour and/or a shorter hair...

Should I cut it shorter?

Having read and heard the many great comments on Gorgeous Hair Studio
and their director, Tony, I finally booked an appointment with them to have
my hair cut and permed later.

OMG I AM SO FREAKED OUT NOW...

Can't imagine how my hair will turn out...am keeping my fingers crossed X
I'm still undecided as to how short I want my hair to be. Really hope it will be
better than just acceptable cos I will seriously cry and coop myself at home if
I have to survive with a bad haircut for months before it starts to grow back again...

Am seriously considering getting my hair cut.
Tired of looking at myself in the mirror with long straight hair
that only looks good when permed.
I'm really into the messy just-got-out-of-bed look right now.
But that requires hair with great volume, which is what I can
only pray of having...Dunno if I could carry off the look :(

I called Gorgeous salon today and was told that the charges
for perm and cut is approximately $210 while Jeric salon is
currently having a promotional $188 package which includes
cut, digital perm and treatment.

ARGH! Gorgeous is known for its great haircuts la but Jeric
is offering a more attractive price! HOW LAH!!!

Mac. Oh Mac.

Okay, life sucks big time without my mac.
And the Dell Mini that I'm using right now didn't quite help.

I have been feeling pretty handicapped after my mac was sent for servicing.
That thing not only suffered a minor crack on the top case where you rest
your hands and a popped out Pg Dn keypad, it also automatically shuts down
after a couple of minutes of disconnection from the power adapter.

I know that sounds terrible. Almost every electronic gadget that I came in
contact with ends up getting damaged. My mighty mouse no longer performs
the scroll function and my handphone practically hangs twice every minute.
Soon it will be the second thing that I'm sending to service.

Now this Dell Mini is causing me to strain my eyes due to its small screen.
And the speed, THE SPEED, of it is slowly killing me. Plus there is no limewire
in this Dell for me to download Taylor Swift's White Horse, and no pictures of
Jas's birthday celebration to upload onto my blog.

I miss my mac.

Anyway, I admit that I'm a follower of Tammi's blog. Yes you haven't guessed
wrongly, it's the Nanyang Poly "porn star". Before I go on, I'd like to first clarify
that I'm a FOLLOWER of her blog, NOT a SUPPORTER of her or her explicit home
video. And so I was reading her blog when I noticed one of her recent posts
that wrote:

"Anyone has got full time office job to intro???"


I couldn't help but to post a comment in response and it reads:

"I was really just about to ask if you ever have to work. Cos it seems
like after you left poly, you haven't actually got a full time job to
occupy yourself with. Do you bother to send your resume to companies?"


She has graduated from poly quite some time ago but up till now, she still
hasn't found herself a decent permanent job. None of her previous jobs
were held longer than 3 months and like what I commented, she doesn't
bother sending her resumes to companies. Instead, she posted questions
like this on her blog blatantly for her readers to offer her jobs.
Seriously I find her useless la. Other than her looks and possibly her skills in
bed, what else is she good at?

I may sound damn kaypo but yah, that's just how I feel lor.
