Well, my course is not all about drawing and slogans.
It emphasizes more on theories and concept development rather
than the execution part, regrettably. We were even told by a
lecturer that the concept carries greater weight than the execution
as there are always people in ADM who will willingly help us
with the latter. Hence, our exposure to design programs like
Illustrator, Freehand and Photoshop is by far much limited than
the Arts student.

But what I learnt in my internship is a completely different thing.
Not only is it important to have a good concept, it is also salient
that art directors know how to use such design programs. Yup,
and also I'm now designated to work in the traffic department that
facilitates communication between the suits(account svc) and art
directors. So I can't exactly say I'm enjoying every moment working
as a liaison. But fortunately there're still some creative assignments
for me to work on, with the CityLink account being the most recent
one. And that's something I could at least feel relieve about. Okay I'm
gonna stop talking about my internship for now.

Anyway, to everyone who is intending to go to Jason Mraz's concert,
I hope you guys DON'T sing along with him!!! Seriously I know
Singaporeans have a habit of singing aloud with the artist. Trying to
prove that they can sing the songs as well as, if not better than, the artist,
or trying to show the artist that "we, Singaporean fans here love you so
much"? I don't know. But Jason Mraz is a brilliant live performer who
has never sung a song in the same way twice. His performance should be
enjoyed and appreciated with full attention and not to be regarded as a
let's-sing-along session like the Hi5.

So please, let me hear the man himself sing acoustically.
We didn't paying to hear ourselves sing.
