Please feel free to comment :)

I am currently working on the Red Bull account to help them
develop concepts for their television commercial and events.

Television Commercial

As you all may have noticed, Red Bull has been using comic
strips in their tvc and their style of story telling is that
they do not try to explain the product benefits rationally.
They want to entertain in a witty, non-conformistic, anti-
authoritan, ironic and smart way. They want to avoid stories
are mostly predictable and smell like advertising.

So I came up with an idea and thank goodness, everyone in my
company likes it. I really hope Red Bull picks it up.

Ps. Before you guys click on the storyboard, note that the
string of birds are queuing in front of a Red Bull vending
machine.

I have forgotten to add in the last frame that supposedly
shows the Red Bull logo and the Tagline that reads 'Red Bull
gives you wings/No Red Bull, No wings"

If you are observant enough, u should have noticed that the
birds which fail to get their hands on Red Bull are all
flightless birds.

Event

My idea of the event is actually to get a troop of rowdy, loud,
crazy and partying mascots (pp dressed in red bull costumes) to
hijack offices, pubs, classes, foodcourts in a group of 10 and
offer free chicken wings to people. They will adopt the signature
reckless tone of Jackass.

Take note that I intend to make this event a completely random
and unannounced one. Nothing is really planned. No one else
should be aware of this event, except for Red Bull. Not the lecturer,
boss nor the pub owner. And the tagline 'Red Bull gives you wings'
will be printed at the back of the mascot.

So try to imagine that you are in the midst of a lecture or work
in the office when a bunch of disruptive and crazy red bulls come
barging into the lecture theatres or office to give away piping
hot fried chicken wings as a free treat without providing any
explanation. And later they leave as abruptly as they come.

Let me know your thoughts to this idea cuz I love it!

Post-Jason Mraz concert

I'm suffering from severe Jason Mraz's concert hangover...

He was TOTALLY, UNDENIABLY, F*CKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!

I'm having a major crush on him now!!!!!! not that I wasn't previously.
The way he danced and swayed rhythmically with his music was just so
goddamn sexy and mesmerizing...oh god...and his voice was utterly
beautiful that I had goosebumps that lasted throughout the gig. The
claim of it being 'THE concert of the year' is no doubt undisputed!
Every single second of the show was a moment to savored, no part
of it was wasted at all. I'm sure it was a complete visual and audio
feast for me and the rest of the extremely fortunate audience.

In the meantime, i'm still trying to upload the videos taken during his
concert on youtube before i link it here, but it seems to be taking forever.

footages taken from youtube which I thought are highlights:

It's weird that a reader left a comment on my blog, requesting for me
to write a post about the NTU stabbing incident.

i dunno man...i'm not exactly a reflective person who is prone to think
of the philosophies of life when stumble upon a situation or a piece of
news. Not that i'm nonchalent, no not at all. I just don't know how I
should feel about it when I'm not physically present in the school to
experience the hoo-ha since I'm currently in my term of internship.
And all the information I have is no more than what has already been
featured
on the news.

When I first heard about the incident from a fellow intern who in turn
got the
news from her friend in school, my immediate reaction was
"..." and then
"Is the stabber a local?" I didn't had that kind of horrified
feeling. But
after reading up the news updates on the net, i began to
register that it
was such a scary incident. It's either the stabbed prof
was a jackass
himself, or he was just too suay to have handled such
psychologically
unstable student.

While you hear about the outstanding students excelling in NUS, you
get news like this about crazy student stabbing professor in NTU.
How encouraging man...Anyway it's really a sad thing cos the student
was the former president of some electronic sports club or something,
I read. What a waste especially when he's already in his final year...

One advice for the professors in tertiary education:
Be afraid. Be very afraid...
